school photos should be better

Wouldn’t it be nice if a school photo captured the unique way your students’ eyes sparkle? There’s no reason your school photos need to feel like a DMV photo. By doing away with the conveyor belt process and being more thoughtful about lighting and editing, they won’t be.

At the same price point as your typical school photo, your school can provide gorgeous photos that reflect the same high quality as the education you are providing.

the experience

The experience of the school photo has been the same since we were kids ourselves. Kids go to school and are herded through a process where an often grumpy school photographer shoots ten frames and moves on to the next kid. Three weeks later you get three choices; each undesirable and somehow look nothing like the actual child. If they don’t look utterly miserable, they are usually making some awkward cheese face that hardly reflects the soul or sparkle that you love and crave remembering. Now, the parents are obligated to buy at least a pack of eight wallet sized prints, to satisfy relatives. Many families use these photos to mark the growth of their children from year to year. Photography standards have evolved. It’s time for the photos themselves to evolve as well.

Instead of just being worthy of a pack of wallet sized prints, these are framers. Even better, I donate a percentage of my sales right back to the school.
